Anaplan Analyst is a native Anaplan artificial intelligence (AI) tool. Ask Anaplan Analyst natural-language questions about your Anaplan models to produce live insights and visualizations. With connected, context-aware conversational AI, Anaplan Analyst rapidly finds answers from your business data. 

Anaplan Analysts can be managed by an AI administrator in Agent Studio. 

Note: Anaplan Analyst is an entitled service and requires a separate subscription. Your Customer Success Business Partner can help you with this.

Get started

Note: Anaplan Analyst adheres to your model's access control settings. This means that you can only view or manage data via Anaplan Analyst if you have access to it. Changes to selective access settings take effect the next time your data syncs. Role-based access updates when a model role changes. 

To get started with Anaplan Analyst:

  1. Select on navigation bar.
  2. Enter a question in the field at the bottom.
  3. Select or press Enter on your keyboard.
    Your answer displays in the panel. 
  4. You can ask Anaplan Analyst follow-up questions, or start a new conversation by selecting New at the top of the panel.

Use the toolbar above the question field to:

  • Check sources for this response
  • Start a new conversation
  • Copy the answer

Show data sources

Select Show data sources to see the workspace, model, module, line item, and dimension your answer was generated from. 

Start a new conversation

Select to start a new conversation.

Use this option when:

  • You ask about a new topic, or ask about something that’s not a follow-up to your previous question.
  • Anaplan Analyst doesn’t answer your question as you expect.
