You can use API keys as an authentication method when you integrate Anaplan APIs with external applications.

API keys are secrets that should be safe-guarded.

Tenant security administrators must enable the ability to create API keys for user administrators. User administrators can then create a unique API key for each authorized user.

Authorized users can use API keys to integrate SCIM APIs to identity providers that support API keys, such as the Microsoft's Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

Key rotation isn't supported. If you need to rotate an API key, as a workaround, you can perform these steps: revoke the key, delete the key, and then create a new key.
