Workspace administrators can apply time ranges as a dimension to new modules in a model. 

Create any time ranges you need in Time in the model settings bar.

To create a new module and assign it a time range:

Note: When creating a new module, time ranges do not display in the New Module dialog until you move Time to the Lists and Roll-ups pane.

  1. In Modules select Insert Module.
  2. In the New Module dialog, enter a name for the module.
  3. Drag the default Time dimension from the Columns panel into the Lists and Roll-ups panel.
  4. Drag a time range into the Rows, Columns, or Pages pane.
  5. Select OK to create the module, or cancel to return to the Modules pane.

The new module adopts the time range as a dimension.
