Application owners can generate an application, which creates an instance of the application within the tenant.
Prerequisites
To generate an application, you must have an assigned administration role for each object in the application. For example: If the application includes user experience (UX) objects, you must be a page builder.
To generate an application with models, you must be a workspace administrator for those models.
Prerequisites to generate applications with ADO
For applications built with Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO), ADO Dataspaces aren't delivered through the Anaplan Application Framework.
Before application owners can generate applications with ADO objects:
- A tenant administrator must assign the integration administrator role to the application owner.
- Make sure the target dataspace is created in the customer's tenant.
- The tenant administrator must assign the target dataspace to the application owner.
After these requirements are applied, application owners can generate applications with ADO objects. They need to select the dataspace during the generation process.
Generate applications
You can generate an application from the Applications main screen. Within the application, you can also generate the application from the Overview screen or from the Configurations screen. After you generate an application, you can view the application generation status and versions from the activity log.
