Generate applications as an application owner

You can generate an application from the:

• Applications main screen.
• Overview screen within the application.
• Configurations screen within the application.

After you generate an application, you can view the application generation status and versions from the activity log.

To generate an application from the Applications main screen:

1. Log in to Applications (see below).
2. Select an application row (don't select the application name link).
   The right-side panel opens and the Details tab is selected.
3. Select Generate from the right-side panel.
4. Complete the fields in Generate application:
   1. Review the contents of your application.
      If your application includes these items:
      • More than one workspace: Select a workspace where the application models will be copied.
        A workspace must have at least one model in it to be selected for generation.
      • Data Orchestrator: Select a dataspace where the Data Orchestrator objects will be copied.
   2. Select Generate application.

To generate an application from the Overview screen:

1. Log in to Applications (see below).
2. Select an application link from the list to open it.
3. Select Overview from the left-side panel.
4. Select Generate from the Last generated tile.
5. Complete the fields in Generate application:
   1. Review the contents of your application.
      If your application includes these items:
      • More than one workspace: Select a workspace where the application models will be copied.
        A workspace must have at least one model in it to be selected for generation.
      • Data Orchestrator: Select a dataspace where the Data Orchestrator objects will be copied.
   2. Select Generate application.

To generate an application from the Configurations screen:

1. Log in to Applications (see below).
2. Select an application link from the list to open it.
3. Select Configurations from the left-side panel.
4. Select Generate application from the bottom right.
5. Complete the fields in Generate application:
   1. Review the contents of your application.
      If your application includes these items:
      • More than one workspace: Select a workspace where the application models will be copied.
        A workspace must have at least one model in it to be selected for generation.
      • Data Orchestrator: Select a dataspace where the Data Orchestrator objects will be copied.
   2. Select Generate application.
