File System Security Management
In the Explorer module, access the Anaplan Financial Consolidation file system. In Explorer, depending on your role's access, you will see a list of files organized into folders.
File System Security specifies a role's Folder Rights and Object Rights within the system.
- Folder Rights: The rights that a role will have on the folder itself.
- Object Rights: The rights that a role will have on the objects within the folder.
A Security Administrator uses File System Security settings, combined with well-thought-out folder structures, to secure the files users can access.
Note: Users with File System Security authorization have access to the entire file system. This means that these users can grant themselves access to the entire file system within Explorer.
