You can rename a workspace from Administration.

You must have the Tenant Administrator role to rename a workspace.

For your workspace name, we recommend that you follow this name convention:
<Company name> <Descriptors> <Environment>

Your workspace name can include these descriptors:

  • Line of business
  • Use cases (examples: Headcount, CapEx)
  • Type of models in the workspace (examples: Data Hub, Planning, Reporting)
  • Region

Environments you can include are:

  • DEV (Development)
  • UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • PROD (Production)

Example workspace name: ACME Corp Data Hub PROD

  • Company name = ACME Corp
  • Descriptor = Data Hub
  • Environment = PROD
