Understand Undo limits

Undo has the following constraints:

• You cannot use Undo on a recently refreshed module. Anaplan holds the three most recently viewed modules in memory. If you work through four or more open modules, for instance from module A to D, Anaplan refreshes the data in the oldest module, which in this case is A.
• If two users enter data into the same cell in a grid sequentially, the first user cannot undo their data change as their grid doesn't display the most recent data value. 
• If you make a change to a cell and then use a filter, or pivot the module view, you cannot use Undo.
• You cannot use Undo if a large import or complex formula is being processed. You can use Undo when the process is complete. 
• If you use Undo on a cell in a line item that is a numbered list, the undo message displays the unique identifier for the item, not the display name.
• Undo can only revert values when there's a one-to-one relationship between the unique identifier and the display name, in a numbered list. If the same display name value appears more than once in the numbered list, Undo cannot identify the value it should revert to. If you use Undo on a duplicate display name value, it returns a blank value to the cell because the replacement value is not unique in the list of display names.
• If you use Undo after amending a Breakback total, the cell reverts to the previous value and Breakback is recalculated.
• If you apply Breakback and then edit one of the distributed Breakback values before you use Undo, the edited value reverts, not the Breakback total value.
