Review journal entry headers and details tables to see if there are any unreferenced data records that may need to be corrected.

Use the Journals module to create journal entries in the application. Headers and details are stored in journal entry tables. Both headers and details are referenced with a set of keys that represent members in your data model. Sometimes, members can be deleted or keys can be changed without their permission. This can make data in the journal entry table unreferenced.

To access the report:

  1. Select the Explorer module.
  2. Expand Global > Administrator > Diagnostics.
  3. Right-click the Unreferenced Journal Data report and select Open. Alternatively, double-click the report to open it.

Note: Your administrator may have moved the report to another place, or it may be started as part of a process.

To view the report:

  1. Select the Journal you want to analyze any unreferenced data for once the report is open.
