Use a date slicer to drive a report

After creating a date slicer, you select it to drive the data in the report.

Select a date from the date slicer created. It'll be written as the Excel serial number in the cell where you set up Update Range With Selection.

You can format the date slicer using the Excel TEXT function, for example, =TEXT(C4, "dd-mm-yyyy").
