This form can be used to record the acquisition balance sheet for a recently acquired company. The currency used depends on the local currency of the selected entity. If a foreign entity is selected, the local currency and the reporting currency is displayed. The user can enter the acquisition balance sheet in both currencies.
The acquisition balance sheet is stored in the Value Dataview and in the business acquisition movement member.
Prerequisites
The system requires these member tags for the Acquisition Balance Sheet input form:
| Dimension | Element | Tag |
| Account | Balance Sheet | #BalanceSheet |
| DataView | Value | #Value |
| Entity | Total_Group (your main root entity structure) | #TotalGroup |
| Intercompany | No Intercompany | #NoIntercompany |
| Measure | Amount | #Amount |
| Movement | Business Acquisition | #Business Acquisition |
| Scenario | Actual | #Actual |
Note: Member tagging is done within the Anaplan Financial Consolidation Model Manager.
The system also requires global variables for the input form.
| Variable Name | Value |
| CurrentPeriod | <Name of the Current Period>. For example: 2026 P3. |
You must ensure that audit members are set as the p_Audit property in the entity dimension. Data entered into the balance sheet continuity schedule is stored to the audit member set on the selected entity parameter.
