Below are some of the DocuSign errors you may encounter and, how to resolve them. 

  • The DocuSign Workflow status is not automatically updated in Anaplan. To view the latest status in Anaplan,  select Update Anaplan in the integration.
  • You cannot access deleted and archived models from DocuSign.  If this happens, you're prompted to select a different model.
  • If your envelope contains a large number of recipients, it could take some time before they all receive their DocuSign email. To find out if all your recipients have received the document, open the envelope and check each recipient's status.

The tags have changed for this template
If you've added new tags, map them to the corresponding column headers in Anaplan.

If you've removed tags, check that the mapping is still correct.

The views selected in the Envelope and the Workflow must have the same structure

If your recipients' names, roles, email addresses, and data are stored in two different views, make sure they've the same:

  • Dimensions
  • Lists displayed on rows, and in the same order. This can be anything that allows you to quickly read the table. For example, recipients' names, IDs, or numbers.
  • Rows hidden
  • Level of hierarchy selected

Try again in a few minutes. 

If the dropdowns are unavailable, check with your Workspace Administrator that you have access to the workspace and model. 

No recipients are valid

You cannot send envelopes if the names and email addresses of your recipients are missing or invalid. Check that:

  • You selected the right columns when you created the workflow.
  • The email addresses are formatted correctly in the Anaplan view.
  • You entered the names of all your recipients in the Anaplan view.
