From the Manage Models dialog, you can change the source models for multiple pages in an app.

Use the Manage models dialog to change an app's data source from development to production, as part of an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) workflow.

If you have a Professional or Enterprise subscription, you have access to more ALM for pages features. You can use these features to associate multiple models with a page, and then switch between associated source models for a page.

Once you associate multiple models with a page, you need to manage the source models associated with the page via Page settings. Where a page has multiple models associated with it, the Manage models dialog displays these under Current workspace and model. However, the dropdown lists to change workspace and model do not display.

For archived models, Model Status displays as ARCHIVED. You can't change the workspace or model of an archived model.

You can't change the workspace or model of a personal page.

  1. On the app contents screen, select the ellipsis  > Manage models.
  2. Select a new workspace from the Change workspace dropdown.
Change workspace only displays if you have access to multiple workspaces.
When you change the workspace for a page, the model defaults, by alphabetical order, to the first model for the workspace you choose.
  3. Select a new model from the Change model dropdown.
  4. Select Change.
Change only displays when you choose a new source model.

Note: When you change the source model for a page, any forms on the page use the selected source model as their data source. If the data structure of the new source model is different to the previous model, you need to edit the form for match the new data structure.
