This form is used to input balance sheet continuity data by a trading partner. This can be done for any account where the movement classification has the intercompany flag set to TRUE.
Movement classification movement allows administrators to control the movements that will be displayed and the availability of movement and account combinations for input. It also enables the selection of specific movement and account combinations that must be entered at the trading partner level.
Prerequisites
The system requires these member tags for the Balance Sheet Intercompany Detail input form:
| Dimension | Element | Tag |
| Account | Balance Sheet | #BalanceSheet |
| Audit | Contribution | #Contribution |
| DataView | Value | #Value |

| Movement | All Movements (main root) | #AllMovements |
| Movement | CTA Parent | #CTA |
| Movement | Scope Parent | #Scope |

Set these required SysNames in the Movement dimension:

| Movement | Business Acquisition | #Business Acquisition |

You must ensure that audit members are set as the p_Audit property in the Entity dimension. Data input into the Balance Sheet Intercompany Detail is input to the audit member set on the selected entity parameter.
Access the input form
To access the Balance Sheet Intercompany Detail input form:
- Select the Explorer module.
- Expand the Global > Consolidation > Input.
- Right-click the Balance Sheet Intercompany Detail form and select Open. Alternatively, double-click the form to open it.

You can also launch the input form by right-clicking on a cell.

Parameters
The key parameters of the input form are:
| Variable Name | Value |

| Account | Select the selection of accounts under the account tagged as #BalanceSheet. |
| Period | It defaults to the value set in the global variable CurrentPeriod. |

Use the input form
Once you have selected the parameters, the input form displays:
- Rows display Intercompany members under #TotalGroup.

Refer to Movement Classification to know more. - The last two columns should be the difference between closing – (Opening + all movements) and a check column showing if the difference is zero.
Note: Any difference is plugged to the Variation Auto member upon submission. If the Period and Scenario combination selected isn't open, the form is locked.
These columns, if displayed, are only in read-only mode:
