Based on your Anaplan account setup, you can log in to Anaplan with basic authentication (auth), single sign-on (SSO), or both.
To access Anaplan, you must initially input you Anaplan account's email address. Then, Anaplan detects which of these login methods are associated with your account:
| Login method | How to log in |
| Basic auth | Log in with the email address and password for your Anaplan account. |
| SSO | If Anaplan detects SSO is enabled for your account, you can use SSO as a login method. |
| Basic auth or SSO | If your Anaplan account is set up to use both basic auth and SSO, you can choose either method to log in. |

When you have finished your work in Anaplan, log out of Anaplan to end your session securely.
