Model builders can convert lists to numbered lists to manage duplicate names in a model. Numbered lists contain list items with unique identifiers.
Create any lists you might need in General Lists in the model settings bar.
When you convert a list to a numbered list, existing list items change to numbers. Learn how to preserve list item names before you convert a list.
Warning: If you want to convert a composite list, the conversion removes any parent list items. It does not remove the top-level list item.
To convert a list to a numbered list:
- Select General Lists in the model settings bar.
- Select the list you want to convert, then select the checkbox in the Numbered column.
- Select OK.
Note: Alternatively, open a list, then select Configure > Numbered List to convert it to a numbered list.
