The default reminder date of an encryption key is 365 days from its creation, however you can edit the reminder date of an encryption key that does not yet need to be rotated. You can enter a date between six hours and two years after the creation date.
Encryption administrators can edit the reminder date of an encryption key.
To edit the reminder date of an encryption key:
- Access Administration from the Application menu.
- Select BYOK > Encryption Keys.
- Select the key for which you want to change the reminder date.
- Select Edit.
- Select the Reminder Date field and choose a date up to two years after the creation date.
- Select Save Changes.
