Workflow templates let you combine a sequence of tasks together to run Anaplan Data Orchestrator actions. Tasks include data extracts, model links, model actions, and notifications. You can run tasks immediately after the you set up the workflow template, or on a schedule.

Note: Workflow is an entitled service and you must opt in to access this feature. For limited availability customers, if you don't have access to Workflow, we will give you temporary access to it.

To set up Workflow with Data Orchestrator, create a Workflow template that runs Data Orchestrator actions.

You can run these Data Orchestrator actions with the Workflow template:

  • Extract action: Use this action to extract data from a connection. Create a data extract in Data Orchestrator to run this action.
  • Link action: Use this action to push data to a model. Create a link in Data Orchestrator that pushes data to a model to run this action.
