Anaplan Data Orchestrator extract and link actions enable you to run data extracts or push data to a model.

Integration administrators must first create a data extract or a link to a model in Data Orchestrator. The extract or link actions then display in the user experience.

Page builders can add Data Orchestrator links or extract actions to an action card on boards or the Additional insights panel. The actions display as action buttons.

The Data Orchestrator extract action button enables you to extract data from a source dataset to a connection. The link action button enables you to push data from a link to a model.

To add a link or extract action button:

  1. Open the board or the Additional insights panel.
  2. Select the Edit this page icon .
  3. Under Add card in the Cards panel, drag the Action card to the board or Additional insights panel.
  4. Select Configure action.
  5. Select the Action tab in the Card configuration panel. 
  6. Expand Data Orchestrator link or Data Orchestsrator extract to display Data Orchestrator links or extracts.
  7. Turn on a Data Orchestrator link switch to add a link action button.
  8. Turn on a Data Orchestrator extract switch to add an extract action button.
  9. Select Save to save as a draft, and then select Publish to publish the page.

Optionally, you can change the style of the action buttons.
