The License Management Reporting feature in the Administration console enables you to track your purchased licenses and measure their usage.

The Summary page in Administration displays a detailed view of your purchased licenses and their usage.

User administrators have read and write access. They can use the Manage users link on the Summary page to change license and other user details. User license assignments are reflected on the Summary page.

Tenant administrators and view administrators have read access to the Summary page.

User administrators can assign licenses to internal users or visiting users.

Note: If any internal or visiting users don't have licenses in your tenant:

  • They are automatically assigned the lowest-level user license per your contract. 
  • You can modify the license type after the auto-assignment.
  • There's no penalty if the auto-assignment pushes you over your license limit.
