Export journal entry details from the system.
A row within the Journal Entry Header must be selected to export the journal entry details.
To export:
- Select a header row to export journal entry details.
- Select Export on the Details toolbar.
The exported file is saved as a .csv. - Select the deliimiter:
- , (comma)
- ; (semicolon)
- | (pipe)
- Select OK.
The exported file contains:
| Column | Description |
| RecType | D signifies the row as a Detail. |
| JEID | The Identification number of the journal entry. |
| Detail ID | The identification number of the Detail. |
| Accounts | The account number for the Detail |
| Dimensions | Members of dimensions defined as Details from the Journal Entry Configuration File. |
| Debit | Amount |
| Credit | Amount |
