The header section shows information for the journal entries you're currently looking at. The header shows the dimensions the administrator chose for your model in the Journal Configuration file. It also has other important information about the journal entries.
The columns in the header include:
| Column | Description |
| JE ID | A unique identifier for the journal entry |
| JE Tag | A label or category that's assigned to the journal entry for easier filtering or organization. |
| Description | A brief summary or explanation of the journal entry's purpose or content. |
| Recurring From | The start date for recurring journal entries. |
| Recurring To | The end date for recurring journal entries. |
| Status | The current state of the journal entry, for example, is the journal entry posted or unposted. |
| Balance | An indicator showing if the journal entry is balanced or not. |
| Attachment | An indicator of whether supporting documents or files are attached to the journal entry. |
| Lock status | Shows whether the journal entry is locked for editing or modification. |
| Security status | Indicates the read or write permissions associated with the journal entry. The security status is based on the created security profiles in the Security module. Note: To view a journal entry, you need read permission to access both the header and the detailed information. If you have access to the header but not the details, you won't be able to see the full journal entry. |
