This page helps you modify a Journal entry heading or details. You can modify unposted journal entries, and if you need to modify a posted entry, first unpost the desired journal entry.
For example, you can modify the entity or the date in the header or change the account and amount for the journal entry details.
Modify header information
You can change the items in the header of an unposted journal entry using the In-line method or the Edit Journal Entry window. These items aren't permanent.
The Journal Entry Configuration file contains details about members that are uneditable, as well as those that are available for modifications.
