Boards display data, deliver insight from Anaplan models, and are ideal for data analysis.
They consist of cards, which are customizable, and sometimes interactive, components.
A well-designed board contains all of the information you need for a high-level summary.
Think of a board as a home page for your app, with key metrics — for an organization, department, or business process — consumable at a glance.
Boards are based on a source model that the page builder selects. Individual cards on a board can show data from different modules and views within the source model. A maximum of six cards may be displayed along the width of a board, and an indefinite number along its length.
Page builders can:
- add and arrange various types of card on a board, and
- include links to related data on other pages.
As an end user, you can:
- view the data displayed on these cards, and
- interact with editable grids and fields, to change drivers and assumptions.
