When Calculation Rules are created, they can be grouped by Calculation Types. When you run a Run All calculation, any Calculation Type that is set to run first runs before the Consolidation process.

To access the form:

  1. Select the Maintain module.
  2. If prompted for a Rule Set, select Consolidation.
  3. Select Calculation Types in the Calculation section to open the form.

A list of the current calculation types is displayed.

The form opens with all the Calculation Types in view.

These columns for the Calculation Types are available:

ColumnValue
Calculation TypeThe name of the Calculation Type
Calculation First

If set to TRUE, then any calculation that is categorized with this Calculation Type runs before any consolidation calculations when running the Run All process.

This means that it runs before the Variation calculation.
