Create a journal entry within the Journals module, based on your role permissions.
Journal entry security
When creating a journal entry, your security profile determines what you can see and select. Here is how security profiles affect the creation of journal entries:
- You can only see and choose members that your security profile allows.
- If you're only allowed to write to leaf members, you'll see the parent grayed out and you can't select it.
- If you don't have access to any of the leaf members under a parent, you won't see the parent category at all.
- If you have permission to write to a parent, you can select the parent member for querying the journals or select all leaf members under a parent for saving, editing, or posting a journal.
