Dataspaces are areas within Anaplan Data Orchestrator where you can organize your data and objects into separate partitions. Each dataspace is access-controlled to provide privacy to your data.
Dataspace inventory screen
When you navigate to Data Orchestrator, the first screen that displays is the dataspace inventory screen. This screen lists all the dataspaces in your tenant that the user has access to.
Each tenant has a default dataspace. If your tenant has multiple dataspaces, you are unable to move or copy objects between dataspaces.
View dataspace inventory screen
To view the dataspace inventory screen, select Data Orchestrator from the top-left navigation menu.
If you opened a dataspace and you want to return to the dataspace inventory screen, select your dataspace name at the top, then select < Back to dataspace contents.
Dataspace access and management
You can access a dataspace if you are:
- The integration administrator who created the dataspace.
- An integration administrator who was granted access to the dataspace by a tenant administrator.
The dataspaces inventory screen displays only the dataspaces the integration administrator can access. Integration administrators can manage their assigned dataspaces from the inventory screen.
Default dataspace
If you already use Data Orchestrator, Anaplan will create a default dataspace and move your existing objects into the default dataspace.
Most Data Orchestrator users will have a single default dataspace. If you have Data Orchestrator in multiple regions, you will have a default dataspace per region.
Tenant administrators can assign access to the default dataspace to integration administrators. The default dataspace can't be deleted.
Tenant allowance for dataspaces
The Tenant allowance section displays your tenant allowance across all dataspaces. Objects within the dataspaces consume from your tenant allowance.
