Saved member lists are lists of dimension members that you can save and reuse. If a member list is used on the same dimension or hierarchy, or a dimension with the same values, it can be used by many users, and in different grids.
For example, a member list you enter against a dimension in a grid remai saved against that dimension, even when the dimension isn't actively used in the grid. If inactive, for example in the header, rows, or columns, the selections have no effect on the data. If you use a member list, you have these options:
- Clear the member list
- Save the member list
- Retrieve a member list
