The time slider type in Anaplan XL Reporting allows you to use a familiar slider control to control member selection.
This can be especially useful for date hierarchies when looking at change over time. The selection can be controlled manually using the slider, or can be 'played' through the available selections in sequence, with the timing of the change specified as required.
Members are selected as normal in the slicer, and then on the behavior tab of the slicer designer, additional properties are available to specify the play speed in milliseconds and whether the control should repeat (play on loop).
