The Workflow owner role enables you to create, deploy, and manage Workflow tasks and templates.
The Workflow owner is closely related to the Page Builder and Model Builder roles. All Workflow owners on the same tenant share the ability to interact with workflows.
Workflow owners can:
- Create page-level tasks.
- Create and modify workflow templates.
- Initiate workflows.
- Modify workflow run parameters, such as assignees and due dates.
- Track workflow progress.
- Reassign tasks or set them to complete.
Workflow is tenant-specific. Multi-tenant users won’t see the icon if they’re on a tenant that doesn’t have Workflow enabled.
A Tenant Administrator assigns the Workflow Owner role. However, an Anaplan customer must buy the Workflow add-on to enable the functionality within Anaplan. Contact your Anaplan account team to do this.
Note: The Workflow owner role is not the same as a task approver, although it is possible their responsibilities may overlap.
