  3. Cards
  4. Use a field card

Use a field card to view and edit a specific field or fields. Fields on a field card are linked to line items and enable you to edit the data value of the line item.

The page builder selects which fields display on the field card. The fields the page builder selects display on the field card and you can change the value in each field to explore possibilities in realtime. Any changes you make are reflected throughout the app, and any other apps with the same source model.

Each field card may contain a single field or several fields. Fields display the value of a line item, and each field is editable independently.

Link and email fields

Link and email fields contain hyperlinked text. If you click the text in an email field, your email client launches to send an email message. If you click the text in a link field, a browser window launches to send an email message.

You cannot edit link and email fields using the field card. However, if you edit link and email data in the grid, the data in any field that displays that value updates too.

Edit fields in a field card

The current value of each field displays in the field card.

You can press Tab to move between the fields or select fields with your cursor. Once you've edited a field, press Enter, or click outside the field to submit.
