The Countries Maintenance form allows you to activate or deactivate countries that'll be available for Deferred Tax calculations. You can also add or delete countries from the list as required.

Access the form

To access the form:

  1. Select the Maintain module.
  2. Select Consolidation if prompted for a Rule Set.
  3. Select Countries in the Tax section to open the form.
  4. A list of the current countries is displayed.

Using the form

The Countries form opens with all the Countries in view. 

These columns for the countries are available:

NameEnter the three letter country code.
CaptionEnter the caption or description of the country.
Active

Specify True or False if the country will be active for Deferred Tax Calculations. All inactive countries will be ignored.

Alternatively, right-click a rule and select Activate or Deactivate. Inactive rules are highlighted in gray and appear at the end of the list of countries.
