If a model builder has enabled Breakback on line items, you can temporarily hold them so that breakback calculations do not update them.
If you change your view of the grid, all the cells held in the grid release.
To hold line items on a grid card or worksheet:
- Optionally, select items in columns or rows.
- Right-click on a column, row, or grid cell, and select Breakback in the pop-up menu, then Hold.
When you update a breakback summary, the difference between new and old values distributes to detail cells that are not held.
To release all held line items on a grid card or worksheet, right-click on a column, row, or grid cell, and select Breakback in the pop-up menu, then Release All.
