You can expand or collapse rows in a grid card on a board or in a primary grid card on a worksheet.

If you've used a list with hierarchies or time as rows on your grid, you'll be able to see the expand/collapse icons on grid rows. You can pivot your data to set these dimensions as rows.

Page builders can enable this option when configuring a grid.

Expand/Collapse can be used with Hide Selections, Filters, Level Selection, and Suppress Empty.

To expand/collapse a row:

Select the or in the row you want to expand/collapse.

You can also right-click on a row and select Expand/Collapse > Expand or Collapse.  

To expand/collapse a branch:

  1. Right-click on a header for the row you want to expand or collapse.
  2. Select Expand/Collapse > Expand branch or Collapse branch.

To expand/collapse all:

  1. Right-click on any row in your grid.
  2. Select Expand/Collapse > Expand all or Collapse all.

Note: Only row hierarchies with a single dimension are supported.
