Workspace administrators can export a full list of users from a model. This type of export includes users' first and last names, email addresses, model roles, and user IDs.
You must be a workspace administrator to set up a users export.
To export users:
- Select Users in the model settings bar.
- In the Users pane, select Export from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
- In the Export dialog, in the Layout tab, select the file type for the export.
- If you use selective access to restrict user access to lists, select one of the following options in Layout:
- Concatenate list members into a single cell to include the list items users have access to in one cell.
List names display in separate columns. - Split list members line by line to put the list items users have access to on separate rows in the export. List names display in separate columns.
- Concatenate list members into a single cell to include the list items users have access to in one cell.
- Optionally, in the Labels tab, select the Include Row Label Headers checkbox to include row headers in the export.
For example, in an XLS file,Email address
displays as a header in theA1
cell. - If you want to save your export settings to run the export again, select the Save Export Definition checkbox at the bottom of the Export dialog. Then:
- In the Export Name field, type a name for the export.
- Choose whether to share the file with Administrators only or Everyone, or select Myself (keep private).
- Select Run Export.
If you saved the export definition, you can add the export to a process or publish it to a dashboard. Page builders can add it to an action card in the UX.
