1. Import and export data
  2. Export basics
  3. Export users

Workspace administrators can export a full list of users from a model. This type of export includes users' first and last names, email addresses, model roles, and user IDs.

You must be a workspace administrator to set up a users export.

To export users:

  1. Select Users in the model settings bar.
  2. In the Users pane, select Export from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
  3. In the Export dialog, in the Layout tab, select the file type for the export.
  4. If you use selective access to restrict user access to lists, select one of the following options in Layout:
    • Concatenate list members into a single cell to include the list items users have access to in one cell.
List names display in separate columns.
    • Split list members line by line to put the list items users have access to on separate rows in the export. List names display in separate columns.
  5. Optionally, in the Labels tab, select the Include Row Label Headers checkbox to include row headers in the export.
For example, in an XLS file, Email address displays as a header in the A1 cell.
  6. If you want to save your export settings to run the export again, select the Save Export Definition checkbox at the bottom of the Export dialog. Then:
    1. In the Export Name field, type a name for the export.
    2. Choose whether to share the file with Administrators only or Everyone, or select Myself (keep private).
  7. Select Run Export.

If you saved the export definition, you can add the export to a process or publish it to a dashboard. Page builders can add it to an action card in the UX.
