When you design a grid, apply filters to ensure users see only the data that they need to.
Simple filters enable users to see, for example, only the data for the regions that are relevant to them.
More complex filters can be configured to display data for a particular combination of factors. For example, product, region, and time.
You can also filter the data in one module by the data in another module in the same model. This is known as cross-module filtering.
To configure cross-module filtering, it's best practice to display a filter module on a grid card in the Additional insights panel. On the grid card, users can select the checkboxes for the values they want to display. The grid will refresh to show only those values.
You can also do this on a board — but remember to configure the Allow editing toggle when you design your grid card.
