Page builders can sort data in a custom view to display values in columns and rows by ascending or descending order.
On a grid with nested dimensions, you can only sort child items. Parent items contain multiple child items and can't be sorted.
You can set the sort for a grid on a custom view. You can't customize Module views.
You can only sort custom views when you edit or design a custom view. Make sure that you're in the Select primary grid or Card configuration panel dialog before you begin.
If you sort a grid as you design your view, you can make sure your users can find the data they need.
Users can also sort a grid, once published. If they later unsort the grid, the data reverts to the order you set.
You can create custom views from grid cards, KPI cards, chart cards, and the main grid of a worksheet.
KPI cards always display the top-left cell of a grid. You can sort the custom view used by a KPI card to ensure the highest or lowest value in a row or column displays in the top-left cell, and on the card.
When you apply a sort to a row or column that's an axis on a chart card, the order of values on the axis changes.
