A dashboard is a combination of grids and charts published from modules in a model.

Classic dashboards are not supported for new customers. Build Apps or Pages in the User Experience instead.

Each dashboard can have as many grid and chart elements as you like, with these elements drawn from different modules. Dashboards can also include images.

Dashboards can be as complex or as simple as you want. There's no limit to the number of elements you can add to them, but complex dashboards may take longer to load. This is especially true if they pull data from a very large model with filters applied.

If you're concerned about the potential performance of a dashboard, build it up slowly, element by element, testing each addition with multiple users.

Different user types will interact with dashboards in different ways. Users will design and build dashboards, and others will work with the data on the dashboards. Workspace administrators will control access to dashboards and ensure consistency.

The dashboards that users have access to are listed in Contents and will open in a new tab.

You can create a dashboard by publishing module elements to a new or existing dashboard. Dashboards are also used as the basis for data entry forms.
