Create a page to display data from a module to end users. When you create a page, you’ll select a layout, the workspace, and the source model for the data you want to display.
To create a page, you need access to the workspace and model. For app pages, you need the Page Builder role.
Each page displays data from one model at a time. After you create your page, you can change the source model from Page settings. If you've a Professional or Enterprise subscription, a Workspace Administrator can enable multiple source models for a page after page creation. You can then switch between source models.
To create a page:
- Open the app to which you want to add a page, or create an app.
- Select Create a page.
- Select a Page layout.
- Select Board to deliver high-level information.
- Select Worksheet to display large volumes of data for analysis.
- Select Report.
- Enter a Page name. If you need to rename your page in designer mode, select Page settings, change the Page title, and select Save.
- From the Workspace dropdown, select the workspace that contains the model you want to use.
- From the Model dropdown, select the model that contains the data you want to display.
- Optionally:
- From the Category dropdown, select the category to which you want to add the page. If you’ve not created any categories, the dropdown displays No results.
- For boards and worksheets, set Create as a personal page to control the page type created. If on, a personal page is created. If off, an app page is created.
- Select Create board, Create worksheet, or Create report to open your page in designer mode.
To preview a page, toggle Preview to the left. To exit preview and return to designer mode, toggle Preview to the left. To keep your changes and make them visible to your users, select Publish.
Delete a page
It’s best practice to delete pages that contain data which is no longer relevant to your needs. This makes it easier for your users to find the pages they need on the Apps screen.
In the app page, to delete a page, select the ellipsis > Delete page, then select Delete again in the Delete this page? dialog.
Note: Deleted pages cannot be recovered.
