Import and export reports in Anaplan XL

You can import and export reports from the Anaplan XL Ribbon > Extras menu. Reports can also be imported on the web server. 

You must have the Can bulk import and export reports permission configured to see these menu items.

The Export Items form appears when you select the Anaplan XL > Extras > Export Items from Web... menu item. Once you connect to the web server, the list of folders and reports available to you appears in the form:

Select any items that need to be exported and choose OK to save the folders and files as a repository archive file.

The Import Items form appears when you select the Anaplan XL Ribbon > Extras > Import Items into Web... menu item. Connect to the web server, then select the repository archive file. The items you selected are added to the repository in the same folder they were taken from but on the current web server.

If you can't use Excel to import reports, you can navigate to your YourAnaplan XL Web server/WebForm/Admin/ImportRepository.aspx to upload the repository archive file.
