When you open a workbook in a newer Excel version, all formulas in the workbook will be recalculated.
This behavior isn't specific to Anaplan XL Reporting, but rather a default function in Excel that can't be controlled by the add-in. It affects all types of formulas, not just Anaplan XL formulas.
This can leave some cells in the working... state. You may have to recalculate the workbook to get the values returned. Ctrl+alt+F9 usually resolves all the cells.
This recalculation only applies when opening a workbook that is saved in an older version of Excel. If you save the workbook in the upgraded Excel version, it won't recalculate the next time it's opened.
