Workspace administrators can use the Model Management dialog to manage models.
Access the Model Management dialog
You can access the Model Management dialog from the Anaplan Home screen or from within a model.
To access the dialog from the Anaplan Home screen:
- Select Models from the top-left navigation menu.
- Select Manage models in the top-right corner of the screen.
- If you have access to more than one workspace, follow these steps:
- Select a workspace from the Select a workspace dialog.
- Select the Manage models button.
To access the dialog from within a model, select Manage models from the left-side panel.
From the Model Management dialog, you can:
- Check your workspace limits.
- Manage your models from the Models tab or the Manage Tasks tab.
Check workspace limits
At the top of the Model Management dialog, you can find information about your workspace limits:
- The workspace capacity percentage.
- The amount of space used in gigabytes.
- The number of models in your workspace.
Note: Warnings display if your workspace exceeds 5,000 models. You may experience connectivity issues. To reduce the number of models in your workspace, delete models that are outdated, archived, or unused.
If you need more space or you want to bulk delete models, go to the Anaplan Support portal
Models tab
From the Models tab in the Model Management dialog, you can open, create, delete, and rename models.
You can also:
- Copy a model
- Restore a deleted model
- Import a model into your workspace
- Copy and archive a model
- Change the model mode
- Switch a model offline or online
Manage Tasks tab
From the Manage Tasks tab, you can view the models in the workspace that are currently loaded into memory, and close them if needed. You can also cancel model tasks.
Cancel tasks
You can cancel import, export, or process tasks from the Manage Tasks tab.
If an import, export, or process is running in a model, the task displays after the model name and shows the progress of the task.
To cancel a task:
- Select the Manage Tasks tab in the Model Management dialog.
- Select a model.
- Select Cancel Task.
Close models
From the Manage Tasks tab, you can close any loaded model to reload the model.
Be aware:
- You can only open up to 200 models at once in a workspace.
- If you open 201 models, the model that has been inactive for the longest time closes automatically.
