When you design a custom view for a worksheet, or chart, grid, and KPI cards, you can select which items to show.

Show items to emphasize important data, and remove data not relevant to users from a view.

For example, you could display regional totals while omitting the employees in those regions. Or, you could display the products in a list without also showing the parent category.

This feature is available only within custom views. You cannot select which items to show within a module view, as module views are designed in the source model.

You design a custom view when you create a grid, chart, or KPI card. This means you can select items to show on a card.

You can also select items to show when you design a custom view for a worksheet.
