Manage text cards

To configure a text card:

1. Select Edit this page  to open your page in designer mode.
2. Select Configure on a new card, or hover over your card and select Edit .
3. On the Overview tab of the Card configuration panel, you can:
   1. Select a View on a report page if you want to use dynamic text. 
   2. Enter a Title, Title color, and Description.
   3. Link the card’s title to a page from the Link to a page dropdown.
   4. Enter your text in the Body text field.
   5. Toggle Display card background to display or remove the card background.
4. Select the Text tab.
5. For boards and worksheets, select a Style.
6. On a report page, you can add rich text formatting and insert dynamic narratives.
7. Select the card drag handle and drop your card where you want it to display.
8. Select Save to save as a draft, or select Publish. 

To format rich text for all text in a card, or selected paragraphs of text: 

1. Select the card or paragraphs.
2. On the Format tab, select a format from the Style dropdown. 
3. Select Bullet list item or Numbered list item . 
4. Select the Alignment.

To format a selection of characters: 

1. Select text on the card. 
2. On the Format toolbar, you can:  
   1. Select a Size. 
   2. Select a Color. 
   3. Apply or remove character formatting.
   4. Select Save to save as a draft, or select Publish.

You can place formatted text from the model onto a report page for line item values and context labels. This creates dynamic report titles and text. 

To add dynamic text to a text card: 

1. Place the text cursor at an insertion point in a text card. 
2. In the toolbar, select the plus icon . 
3. Select Context label, Line item label, or Line item value.
   The text from the data displays with a faint background. 
4. Optionally, add rich text. 
5. Select Save to save as a draft, or select Publish.
   The dynamic text displays as formatted values from the data.
