You can add a key performance indicator (KPI) card to a board, worksheet, or report page to show the value of a line item in a module. Alternatively, you can display the top-left cell of a view. With a view, you can use filters or show a selection to determine the line item.

To edit cards, select Edit to open your page in designer mode.  

Select Save to save as a draft, or Publish to publish the page. 

To configure a KPI card with a line item:  

  1. Select Configure on a new card, or hover over your card and select Edit

  2. Select Line item as the Data source
  3. Select a Module and a Line item from the dropdowns.  
  4. You can: 
    • Enter a Title and Description for your card.
    • Select a Title color.
    • Link the card's title to a page.
    • Set the Text style and Text color.
    • Select a Number scale.
    • Select a Padding style.
  5. On the KPI tab, you can configure Conditional formatting
    • Select a Value
    • Set Minimum, Maximum, and Midpoint color values. Additional midpoints can be added by selecting the plus sign above a midpoint's color swatch. 
    • Enable a Sparkline, and setting the Sparkline color

To configure a KPI card with a view:  

  1. Select Configure on a new card, or hover over your card and select Edit

  2. Select View designer to select Custom views, and design a view, or select Module views, a module, and a view.
  3. You can: 
    • Enter a Title and Description for your card.  
    • Select a Title color
    • Link the card's title to a page.  
    • Set the Text style and Text color. 
    • Select a Number scale
    • Select a Padding style
  4. On the Context tab, you can 

Note: KPIs with a number scale of Thousands or Millions round to two decimal places. For example, a value of 1,555,005 displays as:

  • 1,555,005 if you select None as the number scale format
  • 1,555.01K if you select Thousands
  • 1.56M if you select Millions

You can only add a number scale to KPI cards with a numeric value.
