Use an image card to display a relevant image for an item in a worksheet. For example, you can use image cards to illustrate office locations, products, or different employees in your company. 

You can include multiple image cards on a worksheet.

To add an image card to a board, the source model of the board must contain a line item with the format Text and type Link. The line item must contain a valid image URL.

Note: To edit an existing image card, open the worksheet in designer mode and click the Additional insights cog icon . The Cards panel displays on the right. Then click the Edit icon on the card. The Card configuration panel opens. Follow the procedure below from step 5 to edit the card.

To add an image card to a worksheet:

  1. Open the worksheet in designer mode.
  2. In the Additional insights section of the Insights panel, under Add cards to this page, click Configure.
    The Cards panel displays on the right of the screen.
  3. In the Cards panel, under Add card, double-click the Image tile, or drag it into Additional insights.
    The image card displays in Additional insights.
  4. Click Configure image on the image card.
    The Card configuration dialog displays, with views listed in the left-hand panel.
  5. In the Overview tab select the module that contains the image from the Module drop-down list.
    Only modules that contain Link type line items display in the drop-down.
  6. Select the image from the Line item drop-down list.
    If the URL is valid, the image you select displays in the image card.
    If the URL is invalid a message notifies you on the image card. You or your workspace administrator must update the URL.
  7. Optionally:
    • Enter a title in the Title field.
      The default title for an image card is the name of the selected line item.
    • Enter a description of the card in the Description field.
      The description displays in a tooltip when you hover your cursor over the information icon in the top-left of the card.
    • Select a page from the Link to a page drop-down list. The card title links to the page you select.
      If you have not entered a card title, the name of the page you link to displays as the card title.
    • In the Image tab, toggle Display card background to display or hide the background of the image card.
      The background of cards is enabled by default.
    • Configure context selectors.
  8. Click Publish to save the image card to the worksheet.
