You can pivot the grid on a worksheet to rearrange your data and identify insights.
If you pivot a grid, it removes all grid customizations except conditional formatting.
The page builder who designs a worksheet determines whether you can pivot the grid.
To pivot a grid:
- In a worksheet toolbar, click the Pivot icon.
The Pivot data panel displays.

- Drag dimensions to the Context selector, Column or Row sections, and drop the dimension when a horizontal line displays at the required position.
If the Column or Row section contains multiple dimensions, they are nested on the worksheet. Dimensions at the top of a section occupy the outermost position on a grid, and those at the bottom of a section occupy the innermost position on a grid.

- Optionally, swap two dimensions. Drag one dimension over the top of another and drop it when the outline of the dimension changes color.

- To close the Pivot data panel, click the pivot icon or the X in the top-right of the panel.
