Use a chart card to create visualizations of data sets, so that end users can quickly compare data items.

You can select the following types of chart:

Note: Anaplan's mobile app does not support Gantt, scatter plot, or bubble charts.

To add or edit a card:

  1. Click Edit this page in the toolbar to open your page in designer mode.
  2. Optionally, add a new card.
    Read how to add a card to a board or a worksheet.
  3. Click the Configure button on a new card, or hover over your card and click .

To configure the chart card:

  1. In the Card configuration panel, click the View designer button in the Overview tab to select:
    • Custom views, and then design a view; or
    • Module views, then expand a module, and then select a view.
  2. Click Update.
    The card preview displays the data in the chart.
  3. Optionally, configure:
    • General settings in the Overview tab, including Select view, Title, Link to a page, and Chart type
    • Chart options, including the data series displayed on your chart card, Axis, Labels, and Data.
    • Context selectors, including the Hierarchy filter.

To position your card and publish it:

  1. Optionally, drag and drop your card to where you want it to display.
    • On worksheet pages, the Additional insights panel contains your cards.
    • On board pages, size and arrange your cards in rows and columns.
  2. When you're ready, save the page as a draft or click Publish.
