If you want a sparkline on your KPI card, then select a line item as the data source.
Add a KPI card with line item data
To configure the KPI card:
- Select Line item as the Data source type.
- Choose a Module and a Line item.
The card displays the value of the line item. - Optionally, configure:
- a Title
You can edit the default title. - a Description
Your description displays as a hint when you hover your cursor over the information iconon the published card. - a Link to a page
When the page is published, the title links to your selected page. - a Text style.
- a Text color, using the provided color picker.
- conditional formatting, from the KPI tab.
- a number scale and a sparkline, if you have a numeric KPI on a time dimension.
- context selectors.
- a Title
To position your card and publish it:
- Optionally, drag and drop your card to where you want it to display.
- On worksheet pages, the Additional insights panel contains your cards.
- On board pages, size and arrange your cards in rows and columns.
- On report pages, freely arrange your cards on report slides.
- To save your changes, select Publish.
You can save the page as a draft if you're not yet ready to publish.
Add a KPI card with view data
To configure the KPI card:
- Select View as the Data source type.
The View dialog displays. - Choose:
- Custom views, and design a view; or
- Module views, a module, and a view.
- Select Update to close the View dialog.
The card preview displays the value from the top-left cell of your chosen view. - Optionally, configure:
- a Title
A default title generates from the name of the view, but you can edit it. - a Description
