Workspace administrators can access model configuration panes from the Model settings bar. This enables them to create and configure model objects, and to adjust settings that affect the whole model.

Note: Only workspace administrators can view the Model settings bar. If you're not a workspace administrator, you can use the Contents panel to navigate in models.
The Model settings bar displays along the left-hand side of every model.
The model settings bar displays both icons and labels for each option by default. Select Collapse
You can select these options in Model settings to view information or configure your model:

Contents | Open the model Contents panel to view and open the model's modules, dashboards, and views. Select the option again to hide model Contents. | |
Model search | Search for module objects. You can filter results by:

Time | Set the calendar for your model, define time ranges, and choose a current period. | |
Versions | Create and configure versions to compare different scenarios in a model. | |
General lists | Create, open, delete, and configure the model's general lists. | |
Modules | Create, open, delete, and configure high-level settings for modules. | |
Line item subsets | Create, open, delete, and configure line item subsets. These are lists that group line items from different modules together. | |
Users | Control user access to the model. | |
Actions | Automate routine tasks in a model with actions, such as imports and exports. | |
Source models | Choose alternative sources for model-to-model imports. | |
Revision tags | Capture structural changes to a model with revision tags to enable Application Lifecycle Management. | |
History | View a history of the changes made to the model and restore the model to an earlier state. | |
Pages | View, open, and create pages that use the model as a source. View and open module views that are used by pages. | |
Contents | Organize model Contents by model role. | |
Dashboards | Create, open, delete, and configure high-level settings for dashboards. | |
Data tags | Group related information in the data tags and search for tagged data by keyword. | |

Model info | View the number of cells in the model and the model size. | |

In Anaplan Classic, model settings display in a panel on the left when you view a configuration pane. If you view a module or dashboard in a tab, Model settings does not display. Select the Settings
Some options display differently in Model settings or are missing in Anaplan Classic. To make full use of Anaplan, we recommend you use the default interface.

Model Contents | Model Contents is not an option in the Model Settings panel, but you can select the double-chevron to expand Contents to the left of the panel. |
Model search | Model search is not available in Anaplan Classic. To find model objects, select the relevant pane and use the Search field in the toolbar. |
Pages | You can only access the Pages pane in the default interface. |
Lists and Roll-ups | Lists and Roll-ups is a header above General Lists. You can view, open, and create lists and line item subsets under Lists and Roll-ups. |
Model Map | Model Map is a separate tab next to Model Settings. |
Model info | You can view the cell count for the model at the top of the Model Settings panel. Open Model Management to check the model size. |
Manage Models | You can only select Manage Models from your account menu in the top right of the Anaplan Classic interface. |
